With a BA in Violin Performance and a Master's in Education, Devin Shea brings over a decade of experience leading award-winning strings programs in Southern California. He currently resides in Washington State, teaching, performing and coaching local strings programs.
He's a versatile performer, having played in symphonies and toured and recorded with Grammy-winning artists. Devin proudly teaches a wide range of styles, from Bach to pop and bluegrass, preparing students for diverse musical settings required of todays musicians.
He’s developed unique note reading techniques to help diverse learners overcome the obstacles of reading notation along with improvisational methods that keep music learning fun and creative.
His arrangments have been featured on Spotify, television and school competitions.
Lessons are a flat monthly rate, generally covering four weekly lessons (some months may vary). Payment is easy with your custom link, supporting Zelle, Venmo, Stripe and more! Plus…you can stop at anytime and there are no hidden fees.

Life Happens! (Missed Lessons): While we don't refund missed lessons, we've got you covered! Feel free to schedule a free makeup lesson using my Google Calendar. You'll also get free sheet music, custom arrangements, and video content via a customized online learning portal – all designed to make up for any missed time. If I'm ever away, a substitute will step in; attendance is required, but if no sub is found, a refund will be given.
